The word Kosher means "fit" or "appropriate", therefore, Kosher products are those that respond to the biblical and Talmudic rules of Jewish law.
Kosher certification is the system of quality control of food according to the Jewish laws called kosher. This certification is obtained by an audit in the product’s factory by a supervisor, (Rabbi) a kosher certifier, to ensure that production complies with the standards and quality specifications required.
