Accelerated Oxidation Test according to the Rancimat Method
The methods consists of bubbling air through an oil sample contained in a reaction tube maintained at a temperatura between 100ºC and 120ºC, depending of the type of sample to be studied. This method is used for raw material such as oils and fats and these are comparative tests therefore they should be tested and without antioxidants.
